France: Iran Condemns Police Crackdown Following Massive Student Protests
🌍 Speaking from Iran’s capital, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei criticized Paris’s actions, accusing it of applying a “double standard” on human rights.
“French officials, who label the actions of Iranian security forces as human rights violations…, show no tolerance whatsoever for even the slightest act of violence against the police during peaceful demonstrations.”
🚨 Nearly 3,000 students have been arrested in France following violent clashes that forced the government to call a crisis meeting and switch classes to online learning.
📚 The student protests erupted in response to excessively long school days, overcrowded classrooms, a shortage of teachers, and the severe deterioration of educational infrastructure across the country.
