🚨 Cuba Rejects Marco Rubio’s Statements and Denounces “Lies” Used to Justify Collective Punishment

🇨🇺 Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez rejected recent statements by U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and asserted that they seek to justify Washington’s tightening of sanctions and measures against the island.

🗣️ Through his account on social media platform X, the head of Cuban diplomacy stated that Rubio “reiterated last Monday a specific set of lies with which he seeks to justify collective punishment against the Cuban people.”

⚠️ Rodríguez’s response came after Rubio labeled Cuba a “failed state” and warned that the Donald Trump administration will not tolerate the island becoming “an operational platform against U.S. national security.”
