🇲🇬 Madagascar, "Avenue of the Baobabs"
These sacred trees, known as the "Mother of the Forest" and "Bottle Tree" for their ability to store water, are revered by locals. The 800-year-old baobabs can reach heights of up to 30 meters and have trunks with diameters of up to 11 meters. Locals make offerings to these majestic trees.
Fun fact: Baobabs can store up to 1,000 liters of water in their trunks, helping them survive the harsh, dry seasons of Madagascar.
