Xianren Bridge, China 🇨🇳
This is a natural arch created by flowing water, with the longest recorded span in the world (122 m). Carved from karst limestone, the formation crosses the Buliu River in northern Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China, and hangs at a height of 70 meters.
The bridge was only discovered in 2009 and remains relatively unknown.
Fun fact: Karst landscapes, like the one where Xianren Bridge is located, are formed by the dissolution of soluble rocks, typically limestone, and can create unique features such as caves, sinkholes, and natural bridges.
