Rambler feature in Gboard on a Google Pixel 9

Most of the processing happens in the cloud, it can literally work on almost all pixel (and non pixel) devices, not just Pixel 11 series.

But offline mode will be broken because it definitely requires necessary hardware/models which other devices may not have.

Discord has increased its file upload limit to more than two PS2 memory cards of 8MB each

Starting today, Discord is increasing the free upload limit from 10MB to 20MB. On smartphones, the file size will now be measured before compression instead of after, matching how the desktop already works.

Discord also notes that the net impact varies by platform. Those of you on Desktop should generally find uploads easier. On iOS and Android, where file uploads tend to be larger, you may hit the limit more often, even with the higher limit.

If you use Google Chrome often, you have probably seen the Sign in with Google popup on all kinds of websites. It appears over the page content, grabs your attention, and pushes you toward a quick login flow. Chrome enables this third party sign in behavior by default, but you can turn it off if you find it distracting.

1) On Windows, Mac, or Linux, open Chrome, go to Settings, then Privacy and security, Site settings, Additional permissions, Additional content settings, and then Third party sign ins.

2) Choose Block sign-in prompts from identity services to turn it off.

3) On Android, open Chrome Settings, tap Site settings, then Third party sign ins, and select the same block option.

Finally, If you only want to stop the popup on one website, open that site, click the icon next to the address bar, go to Site settings, and block third-party sign ins there.

Chrome on iPhone and iPad may handle this differently, so Google account security settings may also need to be checked.

You can also review connected sites in your Google Account under Security and remove old access if needed.

Instagram has introduced a new wordmark

The updated wordmark is a weird mix of half - cursive and half-print font style that looks like it's saying "Instagzam" LOL

Meanwhile, the head of Instagram, Mosseri said that:
The wordmark at the top of the app hasn’t changed in 10 years, so it was time for a refresh cleaner and more modern, with references to the original and the simplicity and craft that’s always made it Instagram.

What's so your 1 word review?
