Boston Dynamics unveiled the latest version of its Atlas humanoid 🤖robot, now electrically powered and more agile. Standing at 5' 9" and weighing 180 lbs, Atlas is designed for outdoor and indoor use, with balance and obstacle avoidance sensors. This next-generation robot demonstrates advanced athletics and agility, marking a significant step forward in robotics research.

It is hydraulically actuated, using sensors in its body and legs to balance and LIDAR and stereo sensors in its head to avoid obstacles, assess the terrain, and help with navigation.

Atlas is expected to begin piloting in 2025, with full production a few years later.

Ready or Not Developer Has 4TB Of Data Stolen Including Full Source Code

Void Interactive, the developers of Ready or Not, have experienced a significant data breach with over 4TB of data stolen, including the game's source code and console builds. The breach was revealed by a ransom group in March, but Void Interactive has not publicly addressed it. Fortunately, no personal information of players or staff members seems to be affected. Insider Gaming has seen the stolen data but has not shared it further. They are awaiting a response from Void Interactive.

#Tencent is working on a survival game similar to Palworld called Auroria

Previously Auroria would be a mobile answer to the PC game NoMansSky, but due the Palworld success, the dev team decided to change the direction of the game.

Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS), scientists have developed a programmable metafluid, or "intelligent" liquid, with adjustable properties such as springiness, optical characteristics, viscosity, and the ability to transition between Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluids. EA adds Dead Space and Star Wars: Squadrons studio Motive to its Battlefield dev team

Motive, the studio behind the Dead Space remake and Star Wars: Squadrons, is joining Electronic Arts' Battlefield development team to work on expanding the Battlefield universe across connected multiplayer and single-player experiences. The company has also confirmed that the current season of Battlefield 2042 will be its last. Motive's new Battlefield team will be led by Philippe Ducharme and Roman Campos-Oriola.
