😍 Netflix is setting a dangerous precedent by bringing Hades to iOS only 🎮

Supergiant Games' award-winning roguelike, Hades, is set to release on iOS in 2024, exclusively through Netflix Games. While this is good news for existing Netflix subscribers on iOS, the absence of an Android port raises concerns. Netflix Games, since its foray into mobile gaming in 2021, has become a major player in the Android gaming landscape, securing exclusive rights to original titles and popular franchise sequels. However, Hades' departure from the previous strategy of releasing games on both Android and iOS suggests a potential shift in Netflix's approach. This move could pose a challenge to Android users who might miss out on future major releases if Netflix continues to favor exclusivity with iOS. Despite arguments that this decision may align with Supergiant's historical trend of releasing mobile ports exclusively on iOS, it raises questions about the platform's standing in the gaming industry.
