YouTube is testing the "notes" feature that allows viewers to leave helpful comments on videos. These 🔗notes will appear in a prominent section above the video title and channel name, similar to existing information panels.
The notes can include 🎛timestamps and links and will be rated by third-party evaluators and eventually by contributors themselves. The goal is to provide relevant, timely, and easy-to-understand contexts to the viewers.
The feature is currently being tested in the US and will expand if found to be helpful.
