With restructuring underway, the next mainline Battlefield game is planned for release in 2025, set in the modern-day with a focus on technology in warfare.

A free-to-play Battle Royale title is in development by Ripple Effect, with two game modes planned – classic Battle Royale and 'Gauntlet', featuring objective-based gameplay.
