🤖 OpenAI’s First Gadget Is a Donut-Shaped Speaker

OpenAI is developing a smart speaker shaped like a donut, roughly the size of a hockey puck, powered by a battery for one-handed use around the house. It features moving parts that react to users, plus lighting, cameras, and sensors.

The device aims to deliver a more natural, human-like voice interaction using advanced ChatGPT models, similar to the mobile app’s voice mode. Despite involvement from former Apple designer Jony Ive, it won’t look or feel like an Apple product.
