I recently shared with Billy from Permaculture Pimpcast: during the pandemic, schools got handed billions to put a device in every kid’s hands, and now it’s a full-on surveillance playground. From Chromebooks to tablets, they’re watching students not just in class, but sometimes even at home. It’s wild how far this tech-in-education thing has gone, and I dove into how easy it is for these big players to get their gear into schools.

But guess what? We’ve got kids using Above Book Linux laptops now, and sometimes just bringing your own device is all it takes to step outside that system.
