Gear Selection

Having the right gear is important especially for remote rescue operations. Both personal and team gear needs to be fit for purpose and be multifunctional.

•Clothing System

Team Wendy Helmet - comfortable but the rails suck.

Arc’teryx Goretex for wet weather and wind protection whilst also helping aid visibility.

Arc’teryx Pant with knee protection- most mountaineering type softshell pants lack this.

Scarpa B2 Boots for stability on rocky ground.

Arc’teryx AR395 A Harness - lightweight, comfortable, small pack size and can hike in it. With gloves, surgical tape and small knife on a carabiner.
