🇮🇱🇸🇾🇸🇾⚡️ — Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says he personally spoke with Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa during the clashes between Syrian forces and the Israeli-backed Druze-led Suwayda National Guard in Syria's Suwayda Governorate in mid-2025.

“I made a phone call to the Syrian president. It was a very short, very direct conversation, and the massacre stopped,” Netanyahu said, claiming his intervention helped bring the heavy fighting to an end.

Netanyahu also pledged to continue protecting Syria’s Druze population, declaring, “I will do everything necessary to protect our brothers.”
