🇺🇸⚡️ — Both Democratic and Republican lawmakers have condemned U.S. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth's plan to publicly livestream the execution by firing squad of Fort Hood shooter Nidal Hasan.

Senator Thom Tillis (R-NC) condemned the public execution plan, comparing it to what Iran and Afghanistan would do. Democratic Senators Patty Murray and Ruben Gallago also condemned the public execution plan.

However, Andy Ogles (R-TN) expressed his support for a public execution, calling the decision "excellent".
