🇲🇱🇷🇺⚡️ — The Azawad Liberation Front (FLA) has announced a temporary withdrawal from Kidal as a joint Malian–Africa Corps convoy advances toward the city under heavy air cover.

The FLA said the withdrawal is intended to minimize civilian casualties. The convoy has not yet reached Kidal.

Kidal is a strategically and symbolically important city in northern Mali and a historic stronghold of the Tuareg separatist movement. The FLA seized control of the city during its April offensive, making the current advance a significant attempt by Malian and Russian-backed forces to reassert control over northern Mali.
