🇴🇲🇮🇱🇦🇪⚡️ — The Omani co-pilot who attempted to hijack the Flydubai Flight 1073 told investigators that he planned to crash the aircraft into the terminal at Ben Gurion Airport, according to Israeli Channel 12.

He waited until the plane was over Jordan and nearing Israel before attacking the Indian captain.

His plan was to approach Ben Gurion normally before deliberately crashing into the terminal during the final moments of landing, when interception would be extremely difficult.

The plot was only prevented because the injured captain managed to open the cockpit door, allowing others aboard to intervene and regain control of the aircraft.
