🇰🇷🇺🇦🇰🇵⚡️ — South Korean President Lee Jae Myung threatened “additional measures” against Ukraine unless Kyiv publicly apologizes for revealing that two North Korean prisoners of war had been transferred to South Korea.

President Zelensky disclosed the transfer at the UN General Assembly, angering Seoul, which says both sides had agreed to keep it confidential partly to protect the soldiers’ families.

Ukraine denies that any confidentiality agreement existed and has described the dispute as a “diplomatic misunderstanding.”

Lee rejected that explanation, accusing Ukraine of making him appear dishonest and of invoking the possibility of conflict between North and South Korea.

He said Seoul “cannot overlook” the issue and would take further action unless Ukraine acknowledges the agreement and publicly apologizes.
