🇷🇺🇪🇪⚡️ — Delfi reports that the cargo ship detained by Russian border guards in the Gulf of Finland on Thursday has been allowed to continue its voyage after several hours of inspection.
However, Russian authorities asked the vessel to wait before proceeding, and it remains anchored in the Gulf of Finland.
According to Are Piel, head of the Estonian Transport Board's Vessel Traffic Management Department, the ship was stopped after entering Russian territorial waters.
“The ship was anchored, inspected, and then allowed to continue its voyage. The Transport Board has no official information about the exact reasons for the inspection or the content of the procedure,” Piel said.
