🇮🇱🇦🇪⚡️ — Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz described this morning’s FlyDubai incident as an attempted “jihadist terror attack,” saying the pilot intended to crash the aircraft with all passengers on board.

Katz said one pilot stabbed the other during the Dubai-Tel Aviv flight and “apparently attempted to crash the aircraft,” while a passenger managed to enter the cockpit and, together with others, “neutralized the stabbing pilot” as he was trying to sabotage the aircraft’s systems.

Katz ordered Israel’s security establishment to prepare for “additional potential threats.”
