🇷🇸⚡️ — Serbia has become the first Balkan country to have an openly gay head of state, with Ana Brnabić assuming acting presidential duties following Aleksandar Vučić’s resignation to run for prime minister in the October 25 election.

Brnabić, who is openly lesbian, is now the only person in Serbian history to have served as prime minister, parliament speaker and acting president.
