🇷🇴⚡️ — Romanian authorities said a Russian drone entered Romanian airspace near Chilia Veche in Tulcea County overnight on September 26-27.

Romania’s Defense Ministry detected the aerial target near the border, prompting a RO-Alert warning for residents in northern Tulcea County at 23:32. Two Spanish F-18s conducting NATO enhanced air policing and a Romanian IAR-330 SOCAT helicopter were scrambled to monitor the situation.

The drone flew for several minutes roughly parallel to the Chilia branch of the Danube before radar contact was lost near Pardina. The alert ended at 00:48.
