🇮🇱⚡️ — Israel is planning a major expansion of its navy amid growing maritime threats and a regional naval buildup.

Its sixth submarine, INS Drakon, is scheduled to arrive tomorrow from Germany after roughly 12 years of development. The 74-meter, 2,600-ton vessel will be Israel’s largest submarine and is expected to become operational within several months.

The navy also plans to acquire five new Reshef-class corvettes, with the first expected within three to four years.
