📈 ChatGPT is still the world’s most popular AI assistant, but for the first time since its launch, its market share has dropped below 50%.

According to a new Sensor Tower report shared by TechCrunch, ChatGPT’s share of the AI assistant market fell to 46.4% by the end of May. At the same time, rivals like Google’s Gemini and Anthropic’s Claude have been gaining users.

ChatGPT still leads with more than 1.1 billion monthly users but more people try different assistants.
