Exchange Admin Center outage traced to a configuration change

Microsoft has confirmed that a configuration change caused the October 12 Exchange Admin Center outage, and that rolling it back restored access. The disruption followed reports that admins could not open the portal while Microsoft was rolling back a recent change but had not yet confirmed service recovery.
