Ubuntu website under ‘sustained’ DDoS attack

Ubuntu’s website is currently experiencing a “sustained distributed denial of service attack”. Canonical say some of its online may be ‘intermittently unavailable’ while its team work to resolve the incident. This is the second major attack on the company this year. Back in May, swathes of Canonical infrastructure was taken offline by what was referred to as a “sustained cross-border attack”. That included Launchpad PPAs, Ubuntu Single Sign-on, mailing lists, signing keys and the Snap Store.
