DeepSeek Harness lands on Windows and Mac with local-file access

DeepSeek made Harness available as a desktop preview for Windows and Apple-silicon Macs on September 30, 2026, bringing its agent runtime to users who don’t want to launch it from a command line. The agent can edit local files and run background tasks—but DeepSeek warns it may execute code and commands.
