Cloudflare says AI agents are now the web’s second audience

Cloudflare says the internet has crossed a new threshold: more than half of traffic on its network is now non-human, driven by AI agents that act on behalf of people rather than replacing them. The company says that shift is already changing the web’s economics, because automated requests are rising fast while the revenue tied to human visits is falling.
