Firefox 157 released with ‘biggest visual refresh in years’

A new look Firefox 157 is out with what Mozilla say is the “biggest visual refresh in years”. The latest stable update to the desktop browser debuts the new Nova theme to all. The ‘modernised look’ makes core elements rounder and more colourful, using subtle pastel gradients in the window chrome on Windows, macOS and (opt-in on) Linux. We got our first look at Nova back in March when tech blogger Söeren Hentzschel shared internal Mozilla mockups of the planned changes.
