Ubuntu 26.10 adds a Windows-style window snapping panel

There’s a new way to tile application windows in Ubuntu 26.10, as the built-in Tiling Assistant now has a layout picker which slides in from the top of the display when moving a window. If Windows 11 users will be familiar with the concept, as will anyone who has tried the Tiling Shell extension for GNOME Shell, since they both do the same thing.
