Claude merges Cowork into chat, bringing Docs and Slides to every conversation

Anthropic is folding Claude Cowork into its standard chat interface, eliminating the need to choose where a task belongs. Claude will retain two main modes—Claude Chat and Claude Code—while Cowork’s long-running work and Claude Design, Docs, and Slides capabilities become available from regular conversations.
