Ex-Anthropic insider warns AI could kill humans by 2030

CNN host Boris and former Anthropic and OpenAI researcher Jacob Coxon discuss why AI researchers privately fear that rapidly advancing systems could cause catastrophic harm by the end of the decade. Coxon says current models are not yet capable of extinction-level actions, but recursive self-improvement could soon allow AI to outpace human oversight.
