Zoom patches ‘Zoomsday’ flaw after AI-built exploit takes over meeting devices

A critical Zoom annotation flaw let any meeting participant silently take over other attendees’ devices, and researchers built a working exploit with fewer than 20 AI prompts in less than a day. Earlier Zoom security coverage focused on a separate Windows account-takeover bug in an earlier vulnerability.
