Alibaba to publish weights for 2.4T-parameter Qwen3.8-Max model

Alibaba plans to make the weights of Qwen3.8-Max publicly downloadable next week, turning its largest AI model release into a potential new open-source option for organizations evaluating foundation models. The multimodal model contains 2.4 trillion parameters and is already available through Alibaba’s developer platforms.
