NEAR Intents hit by a $3.8M exploit

NEAR Intents paused operations after a bug in its Omni deposit and withdrawal system led to around $3.8M in losses.

The vulnerability has been fixed, and the team says affected funds will be fully reimbursed.

ZachXBT said the stolen funds were transferred to KuCoin and then bridged to Bitcoin. The incident remains under investigation.

NEAR fell around 6% following the news.
