Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Sunday that Israel perceives peace and security in the region, especially among its neighbors, as a direct threat.

Earlier, former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett identified Turkey as a target following Iran.

Some media outlets have reported that Israel and Turkey are on the verge of armed conflict.
