AI is significantly reshaping the Russian labor market, HeadHunter CEO Dmitry Sergienkov said at the Headconf conference on Tuesday. He noted that users are increasingly using AI to inflate their responses, while employers are boosting automation. About one in three companies employs AI tools to create stringent filters, resulting in quicker rejections and more repeated application attempts. Sergienkov described the interaction between automated replies and filters as a cycle that increases noise and costs without delivering economic benefits. Globally, the number of responses per recruiter is expected to rise by 400-500% between 2022 and 2025.
