Iraq devalued its currency by 13% against the U.S. dollar in one day amid economic difficulties caused by reduced oil exports due to supply blockages through the Strait of Hormuz, Bloomberg reported. The move is the first currency devaluation by a Gulf country since the outbreak of the U.S. and Israel conflict with Iran in late February.
