October 18 marks 30 days since President Donald Trump signed a law imposing sanctions on Russia, requiring him to decide whether to implement secondary sanctions that would target Russia's trade partners.

U.S. Energy Secretary Rick Perry told CBS News on Tuesday that Trump is weighing the pros and cons and is likely to make a decision by October 18.

Perry said he did not know what decision Trump would make but added that the president is considering all available pressure tools related to the Ukraine conflict.
