DUBAI, June 7 (Reuters) – An incident involving a Flydubai aircraft is being investigated as a possible terror attempt, the UAE Attorney General said on Wednesday.

The co-pilot involved in the incident was an Omani national who reportedly held radical extremist views, the official said.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu suggested there could be an "Iranian connection" to the case, adding a geopolitical dimension to the investigation.
