MOSCOW, June 2024 (Reuters) - Russia’s budget revenues from raw materials are expected to fall to 7.3 trillion rubles by 2026, 1.6 trillion rubles less than planned, the latest estimates from the Accounts Chamber showed on Thursday.
The shortfall is attributed to a stronger ruble, along with higher delivery and insurance costs, which are expected to reduce tax revenues from extraction.
At the same time, non-oil and gas revenues are increasing in importance and are projected to rise.
