Analysts warn the global diesel market is facing a severe crisis with unprecedented supply reductions. From March to August 2026, diesel exports from the Middle East decreased by an average of 835,000 barrels per day compared to the same period in 2025, while Russian supplies fell by 377,000 barrels per day, according to Vortexa estimates. Data from Kpler and Energy Aspects indicate the combined shortfall totals about 1.1 million barrels per day.
