Iraqi travel agencies have informed clients that from Sept. 23, 2026, Baghdad International Airport will no longer accept flights from Iranian airlines. Iran had previously announced that all its airlines worldwide would cease operations from that date and warned of disconnecting countries accepting Iranian flights from the dollar system. The United States is carrying out "Economic Outcast," an operation aimed at isolating Tehran economically through sanctions.
