Ten years ago today, Maria Ladenburger was murdered
Unconscious, three-quarters of the body in the small, knee-deep trisam, head submerged, legs torn apart, raped. Unclothed. Traces of brutal violence were found all over the body of the 19-year-old young woman. Images that even shake hardened police officers.

Exactly 10 years ago today, Maria Ladenburger was brutally murdered, one of the first bloodsheds from the migrant milieu to cause a nationwide sensation. She also stirred up the tranquil city of Freiburg im Breisgau.
Her murderer, presumably Afghan »refugee«, had already been convicted in Greece, but nevertheless came to Germany unhindered and pretended to be a minor. To this day, the case represents the fatal failure of a state that ignored all warning signs - and continues to do so.
