I personally use dbt, metlano at work and host them in docker.

I already see the benefits in active collaboration and progression of members. Everyone has the shared goal to land the job or double income or close the gaps.

Today was epic 10 hours session where we learnt:
- docker and docker compose
- lots of practice with git, github and CLI
- build in docker compose postgres and jupyter
- worked with real trading data and learn about trading use cases for regulations
- tried to add dbt and Airflow (failed)
- used a lot of ChatGPT and Bing
- lots of motivation speaches😜

I personally learnt a lot! Folkes joined from Alberta, BC, Ontario.

We are planning our next bootcamp in Tofino, BC in August for 1 week 🏕️ , kids and pets friendly! More details will come😋

For premium Surfalytics users I’ve created 2 peojects for November:
- Building end-to-end Power BI dashboard with Microsoft Fabric
- Deploying Azure Databricks in a Virtual Network with No Public IP

These projects are dedicated to basics of Azure cloud computing, Azure Analytics services, security and network configurations. The result will go into the portolio and will be documented as blog in the students personal medium.

You can do these projects on your own or can join privat discord channels where we discuss them, learning and doing togehter. It is part of Surfalytics monthly subscription (20CAD per month) that will help me to develop core free video trainings.

I found random personal website built on top of GitHub Pages (for free). This would be great project for one of the future Surfalytics projects. Even surfalytics website itself is built on top of GitHub pages.

MicroStrategy is not only known for investing in Bitcoin, but they also collaborated with the University of Colorado Boulder to create one of the best foundational programs on Coursera: "Data Warehousing for Business Intelligence Specialization".

Unfortunately, this program has few buzzwords and makes no mention of the #moderndatastack 🤣
