Salty hair, barefoot walks along the boardwalk, and the slow rhythm of the ocean—Carolina Beach has completely reset my clock. A few rounds under the summer sun, a quiet afternoon on the green, and the ocean stretching endlessly beyond the fairway made for the kind of escape I didn’t know I needed. With nothing but a golf club in hand, a camera close by, and nowhere else I had to be, I found myself taking my time with every shot, every view, and every little moment in between. There’s something about spending a warm summer day outdoors, surrounded by open skies and the sound of the breeze, that makes everything feel a little lighter. No packed schedule, no unnecessary noise, just good company, a little competition, and enough time to enjoy the day at my own pace. There is something effortessly peaceful about listening to the waves crash while watching the sky turn shade after shade of pastel pink and gold.
