Salty hair, barefoot walks along the boardwalk, and the slow rhythm of the ocean—Carolina Beach has completely reset my clock. There was no need to run into the chilly waves when the sunshine itself was already calling my name. I let the warmth linger on my skin, and wandered around with my camera ready for every pretty little scene. From sunlit corners to palm trees swaying in the breeze, I found myself collecting moments through my lens wherever I went. A lot of sunshine and countless photographs later, the day felt like a postcard from the kind of summer I never wanted to end. Along to the beat drifting from the beach bars, letting the music become the soundtrack to an unhurried summer afternoon, not only that… There is something effortessly peaceful about listening to the waves crash while watching the sky turn shade after shade of pastel pink and gold.
