A month ago, ~65% of all USD in Bitcoin had a cost basis above $95k. Today, that on-chain wall has been cut to ~50%.

As BTC consolidated below $95k, weak hands sold and long-term holders absorbed coins. This cleared out a massive chunk of overhead supply. The "cascade" risk is lower, but $95k remains the key psychological breakeven for the remaining cohort.

Macro provided a nudge, but crypto's own gravity — defined by aggregate cost basis and ETF flows — is still in charge. The Fed is now in the driver's seat for sentiment, but it can't clear the $95k wall. Only real buying pressure can.
