🧠 Master’s Project: Human Neuronal Network Development (Vienna)

A 12-month Master’s thesis opportunity at the IMBA – Institute of Molecular Biotechnology, Vienna BioCenter (Knoblich Lab).

Focus:
Study human brain development using cerebral organoids (3D stem-cell models) to understand how neuronal networks form—and how genetic changes disrupt this process.

You’ll work with:
• Human stem cells & organoids
• AAV & rabies-virus tracing
• Advanced electrophysiology
• Bioinformatics (Python/R a plus)
• Imaging (confocal, 2-photon)
