🇨🇭 Internship in Economic Research in Geneva

The United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) invites students and graduates for an internship in the Debt and Financial Analysis Unit. This is a chance to immerse yourself in research on external debt sustainability, development financing and reform of the global financial architecture, working in a team of UN experts.

What is included in the internship:
- Collection and analysis of statistics, updating and creating databases and dashboards
- Preparation of presentations and materials for intergovernmental meetings
- Support in organizing events, including UNCTAD16 and meetings on Financing for Development
- Work under the supervision of senior UN economists and experts

Requirements:
- Study in master's / postgraduate program or in the last year of bachelor's degree, or recent graduation
- Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Teams; strong skills in searching and analyzing information
- Fluent English, knowledge of French or another official UN language is a plus
- Readiness for full-time or remote work (if full-time - visa and expenses at the expense of the candidate)
