​​🇯🇵 Research Internship Program in Japan

The OIST Internship Program offers a unique opportunity for students in the fields of natural sciences, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) to immerse themselves in academic research in an international environment. The internship, lasting from 2 to 6 months, allows participants not only to gain valuable experience in a specific laboratory or learn new techniques but also to contribute to the research community activities at OIST.

The program's uniqueness lies in its flexibility: internships can start and end at any time of the year, and there are two application periods.

OIST provides interns with comprehensive support, including a stipend of 2,400 Japanese yen per working day, covering utility payments and accommodation in a furnished apartment. Additionally, interns receive assistance with visa processing, insurance, and local registration.
